Whereas, Supply chain management is the process of sourcing and management of all other accompanying services such as product design, certification, inspections, client delivery shipping logistics, etc.

Every product or service need is unique. However, qualifying for a manufacture of basic commodity or service can be as little as several weeks to several months for a fully customized packaged product or service.
